I don’t know, are people checking out this band? Probably not, but they should be. Let’s break it down: the swampy garage punk factor will please fans of The Mummies, New Bomb Turks, Hank Wood And The Hammerheads; the modern factor instantly aligns Big Break with fellow labelmates Irked, and also, (even though it’s a band I fail to fully understand) I would pinpoint their location right next door to the Osees – in as much as their take on modern garage punk is pretty fuckin’ open ended.
