A superb brass coal helmet from the Edwardian period. With cast brass claw feet and ebony grips to the handles, along with great embossed detail, this is a fine coal helmet and one that would definitely have graced the Sunday parlour and not been in everyday use. Condition is very good and unusual to find with a lacquered finish that means only needing a light wipe down and not 20 minutes with the Brasso.
