Description Conflict “Turning Rebellion Into Money” CD The live set from Conflict’s notorious Gathering Of The 5000 show at the Brixton Academy, 1987. A recording that was originally released as a double vinyl album by Mortarhate in that same year. Joined by Steve Ignorant, the set was a combination of both Crass and Conflict songs. Bearing in mind that the mid 80s lineup of Conflict contained three very capable musicians – Paco on drums, Kevin Webb on guitar and Paul Hoddy on bass – this live performance has more than a few interesting interpretations of some very familiar Crass classics. Renditions that are not only sped-up, but also, spiced-up, with an occasional brass-section backing.
