The legendary status of these highly creative anarcho punks was already well established by the mid 1980s, and after five mysterious years of silence the anticipation for a new recording was immense. Emerging, finally: thirty songs all centered around the theme of HP Lovecraft and his Cthulhu mythos! An utterly bonkers concept album. And fucking fantastic it was. And still is. Recorded at Southern Studios, giving the band free reign to pursue their gothic horror descent into a crazed psyche (both Lovecraft’s and Blinko’s).
