The Water Carrier by Karl Gross for Goldscheider c.1902. Austrian art nouveau terracotta signed to the base. The rear of the base is stamped with the Goldscheider marks and numbers – 2770 (model number) / 696 / 17. I believe made in 3 sizes and this is the biggest.
