Smaller ceramic captured bird hand painted art deco statue. I believe made by Goldscheider/Myott in the UK After the family fled Germany during the war. Marked under the base with Goldscheider and model number 393. Inspired by the stage dancer Niddy Impekoven who danced wearing a costume with butterly wings It measures 11 inches (28cm) high, 10 inches (25.5cm) wide. Condition is very good with age related glaze crazing.
