It’s frustrating that the vinyl version was hoovered up almost instantly upon release in mid-2024, but making do with a cassette version isn’t such a bad compromise (and what kind of freak, of any generation, doesn’t own a cassette player?). Anklebiter continue to deliver their explosive short-fast hardcore, and doing it better n’ better with each release. Prevention, currently making a big buzz in their Springfield, Illinois home town, shine in a similar straight-forward hardcore style, with a heavier, harder tone.
