Large French art deco bakelite box with a design to the lid of a tropical scene of a Man, woman, 3 deer, a parrot and a camel. A design worked in conjunction with Rene Lalique. The underside of the lid and base is stamped “Fornells editions, Paris”. 6 inches (15cm) wide and deep and 2.25 inches (5.5cm) high. Vintage, used condition. The base has a chip and 2 hairline cracks but is stable.
