Description Traidora “Una Mujer Trans Sin País” LP The debut full-length, following-up 2023’s debut tape/7″, by this new force in London-based outsider punk. Traidora began life as the solo project of multi-disciplinary artist Eva Leblanc, a Venezuelan-born trans-woman immigrant, living in the UK (who, interestingly, has previously worked with Eve Libertine); and now upgraded to a conventional full band line-up. Blistering hardcore punk fury with a blackened element of unrelenting intensity – say, Drop Dead meets Lasso – and with lyrics confronting issues of liberation, alienation, identity, nationality, and global injustices – all sung in Spanish, for that added vocal vitriol.
